LaChase Baits Sponsorship Agreement

I thought I would make my first post of the year bragging on a great, new sponsor that I have for the 2009 tournament season - LaChase Baits.

Located in Tunkhannock Pennsylvania, LaChase Baits makes the best hand-poured baits you will use. From the Chase "N" Tubes and Hand-Poured Chunks to the Scrounge and Mean Moe, The entire line-up is made to catch fish.

My first experience with LaChase Baits was with their 2.5" Chase "N" Tube in Oneida Silver. I was actually drop-shotting them and caught quite a few nice fish. After that I called Nick LaChase and asked him to bring me a few bags of tubes and chunks to the next tournament. Long story short, Nick handed me a bag full of baits including Chase "N" Tubes, Hand-Poured Chunks, Hye-Poe Worms, and Ribbed Morsels. During that tournament (which was on Oneida Lake) I caught all my fish on LaChase Baits. Over the rest of the season I fished these baits on different bodies of water and absolutely wore 'em out. When I finally used my last Hand-Poured Chunk, I gave Nick a call and told him how stoked I was about his baits and asked if he would be interested in adding me to his Pro-Staff.

LaChase Baits owner, Nick LaChase, has done a great job with his line-up: his colors are awesome and his hand-poured baits flat-out catch 'em. I know that he has a few new, unique baits coming out soon so check back to hear about those - they are sure to be awesome. But for now I just want to say I am excited to be a part of the LaChase Baits Pro-Staff and to be able to promote these awesome, hand-poured baits.

The X Factor - Vertical Lures Field Staff

I have had a good month so far and this just adds to it. I am excited to be starting the 2008 tournament season as part of the Vertical Lures Field Staff.

Vertical Lures Jig X, Tube X, and Chunk X were designed for my fishing strength - flipping heavy cover. Of course they weren't designed for me, but their unique designs, especially the design of the Jig X, eliminate all of the problems I have encountered using conventional flipping baits.
