What A Difference A Day Can Make

Last Thursday I fished for about four hours with only one bite which I thought was strange since the conditions seemed to be pretty good - 62 degree water and a slight breeze. Because of the poor bite, I used Friday to tackle some computer work that had been piling up. Got on the water Saturday morning and it was flat-out awesome! The water had warmed to 64 degrees and they were on!

In four hours of fishing I boated 30+ fish - all largies. Some of them had moved up to spawn and others were staging over deeper grass. I caught all of my shallow fish on a T-rigged Tube X in Cayuga Craw. The Staging fish were caught on a Green Pumpkin Senko. Sunday morning was also productive with about 15 fish in three hours - all caught the same way.

X'ed Out - Tube X strikes again
